A question about "H35 Conventional Systems Operation"

Post by W2WP »

I have a chance to get a pretty decent deal on an XTS5000 Mod.3 UHF-L. As I would use this mostly in the HAM band I see the Flash does not have the H35 Conventional Systems Operation option. So would I be SOL for Repeater/Simplex use?
Thanks,
Mark / W2WP

No, you need not worry, that radio will work fine for repeater and simplex operations

Yep, as long as you have a more advanced package, the lesser packages are included.

H38 - Smartzone
H37 - Smartnet
H36 - Startsite
H35 - Conventional

If you have H38, 35/36/37 are included.
