As the subject says, I'm checking on availability, and price, of an HLD3010 PA board for D43 model Radius/Maxtrac series radios. Used is fine, as long as it is in proper working condition.

Probably easier and faster to just buy an entire used radio with the same model number, and swap the entire PA section, or just use the newer radio in its entirety. May also be cheaper in the long run.

These things are usually bullet-proof. Hard to blow up. Should be repairable to the component level. There aren't very many active components on the PA board.

I can repair it, but don't have a spare to sell.

Bob, this one isn't. From the looks of it, it got water in it, then got operated wet until it arced over. After that, it sat in storage for a few years. What isn't badly burnt is heavily corroded. You may have a point, though. I may be better off looking for a junker with a good PA.

Chart, I don't doubt that you can repair it, but it wouldn't be worth the time once you get through rebuilding traces on the board.
