12v impres charger for the car

Post by videonerd »

Is there a way to mod the WPLN4111AR standard AC impres charger for use in a vehicle? I just want a charger in the vehicle for times I forget to charge a battery. This is not for public safety. The "proper" 12v charger WPLN4208 lists for $440 ($317.53 MOL) YIKES!

I imagine the easiest way would be to just get a 12V to 110V inverter for the car. They are cheap enough these days. Then your Impress charger would still work in the house & car & not be modified. GARY N4KVE
