new flashcode decoder

Post by theplague »

since akardam took his tools down I have been working on a new flashcode decoder.
the url is: http://www.chernobylnetworks.ru/decoder/decoder.php
please note we are still actively working on the lookup tables. You *must* select the type of radio you wish to decode the flashcode for. Generic does not work presently. The flashcode types that work presently are XTS4000/5000/XTL5000/Astro Spectra Plus/Astro Spectra/Astro Saber/ XTS3000. Please PM me if you have any problems with the decoder or post in this thread. If you have any information to contribute please also feel free to PM me.
Thanks!

Of course, .ru domains are going to be blocked in many places.

And, you know, doing some googling of that domain name, as well as others in Wiztech's class C sure turns up some *interesting* results...

If ISP's are blocking .ru domains that is the ISP's problem not mine.

Fact is that Peter's flashcode decoder, now removed, was not the only game in town, though it was reliable and complete. I'll miss having it to use but, as I said, there are others.

There was a guy named Kris O'Connell that developed a downloadable stand-alone Flashcode Decoder.

I have a copy of it here and it works pretty good. I just can't find it anywhere online now. Does anyone know what happed to that version?

I'm currently working on a new web-based decoder... If anybody knows of a list of flash options that's newer than 2007 it would be appreciated if you PMed or emailed me (bezking@radioreference.com)... 8)

I've removed the really useless banter from this thread - if you guys want to discuss politics, take it to email, PM, etc.

Thanks!

Enough. The useless banter from this thread has been removed.

If you wish to continue to have a meaningful discussion - please do so. This is the second post I have had to make here to tell all of you to knock it off.
