Centracom Parts
Looking for some Cenracom gold elite parts since M Cancelled them
Need a BIM, ACIM, RS-232 CARD
Basically need the 3 cards to add a digital p25 channel to a console so we can get Ptt-ID on the console this is a conventional system
bln6654 BIM
don't have parts numbers for ACIM and RS-232 Card
Motorola used to sale this as a package called B1853
any ideas where to obtain these items

BLN6654 BIM
BLN1215 ACIM
BLN6664 6 I/O
Interconnect Cable for ACIM to 6 I/O
You don't need the RS232 card for ACIM operations. You DO need it if you are going to MUPL the COIM for some reason, or diagnostics... but otherwise you would program the ACIM through the front of it.

Re: Centracom Parts
BLN6654K - BASE INTERFACE MODULE-OUT LIST $1,499.00
BLN1215D - ASTRO CONSOLE CHANNEL INTF-OUT LIST $267.00 (That can't be right... Or can it?)
BLN6664E - BOARAD AUXX 3 INPUT/6 OUTPUT-OUT LIST $578.00 (Yes, it's spelled that way)
I show all of this stuff available... Looks like the BIM isn't in stock, but it appears to be able to be ordered.
Where ever you're looking and whomever you are talking to is giving you bad information.

Re: Centracom Parts
Thanks for the part numbers, Guess the ECAT is wrong it shows cancelled sept 31st 2011
all those part numbers come up in my price pages to order
and thanks for correcting the rs-232 to a aux I/O we have the rs-232 already just need the aux i/0
anyone know if there is going to be a new consolette that could be hooked to the centracom through an acim after the xtl5000 is cancelled at the end of this month

Re: Centracom Parts
The APX 7500 consolette should be able to interface to the BIM/ACIM combo that Centracom has. If I recall correctly, the photos of the consolette that I've seen show an "ACIM" port. You should probably call pre-sales support and ask these questions.

Re: Centracom Parts
You must have more faith in pre-sales than me,, I have called them and got two different answers.. One says it will work the other says it doesn't. I have ordered a manual see how that goes

Re: Centracom Parts
The parts are orderable; as parts, not for new expansion etc. So just order them as parts by those numbers.
Yes the ACIM is dirt cheap, not sure why but get em while they last.
The Apx7500 does have a ACIM link port, it uses that to connect to a mcc7500. I believe it works with a gold elite also but can't confirm.

Re: Centracom Parts
So I would assume that using the ACIM port to interface to MCC 7500 requires a GGM 8000?Batwings21 wrote:The Apx7500 does have a ACIM link port, it uses that to connect to a mcc7500. I believe it works with a gold elite also but can't confirm.

Re: Centracom Parts
Well they are calling them CCGW's but they look like the GGM8000. This is the first MCC7500 I've dealt with, but the CCGW was based off of the s2600 router right? They will interface to a centracom and an ACIM also.

Re: Centracom Parts
I have a question along a similar line to the OP.
Can an APX7500 on an FDMA system be set up to work on a Centracom Gold ELite?
I have a resource that is no longer used consisting of a BLN 6654, BLN 6664 connected to a GAITRONICS ITA2000.
This resource used to run a M1225.
I would only need to key the radio and get audio. No ID's, signaling or channel steer.
