2175 filter for a pa system

Post by rexx9steve »

What are my best options for a inline 2175 filter? I am going to be feeding my gaitroinics console into a overhead PA system and would like to filter up the tone heard when keying up the console and remotes.

Thanks

I put one of them in line with a audio recorder and it did not notch out the 2175 guard tone entirely, it could still be heard a bit on the recorder.

There should be a monitor/recorder point prior to any keying tones. That is where you should get the audio for your pa system.

I agree. Use the logging recorder outputs.
