Centracom console question

Post by desperado »

I have a Centracom console I have been piecing together and updating as I can.
I now have 2 COIMs and got some DCCM's to go in the button and LED op position.
I have a CIE, but I would rather stick with the Button and LED op for now at least. I like the look of it better.

Now my issue.
I can't seem to get the DCCM's to light off and display anything. The CCM part works fine. . I can PTT, select the resource and all that I just can't get the digital display to work. I don't know if I am missing something or what. I didn't have them in when I was running OMI's but I pulled them fromo a working system so I know they will work. What am I missing?

Have you defined the CCM's as DCCM's within that control panel in B&L part of the CDM software, and uploaded the COIM's with the new database?

Hrm... I seem to recall there's some version of board required for DCCM's to work - is this an EXTREMELY old console?

no,,, not all of it. I have pulled all the red cards for the most part and it's an Elite series CEB other than a couple BIM's
The OMI I am using is actually a COIM but I couldn't tell you the version off the top of my head.
The OP position is CC2 though not 2+ so maybe that has something to do with it.

It's the vintage of the "control board" inside the physical B&L OP that determines whether or not it'll support DCCM's...

I've got a rackmount OP at home with all the right stuff in it... PM me if you want it, I'll trade it for something. I'm easy. REAL easy.
