Building a 1CH repeater

Post by themedic66 »

I would like to build a small, 1 ch repeater(moto preferably). How would I do this? Is there a website with step-by-step instructions similar to this site:

http://www.prestonmoore.com/repeater.html

Thanks in advance!!

Preston's site is good jumping off point for you although it is very specific to the ICOM radios. A common Motorola repeater would be 2 GM300's hooked together with a Motorola R.I.C.K. or a generic repeater interface which can be commonly found on eBay for less than $10.00.

Another good site for repeater information is http://www.repeater-builder.com/rbtip/ there is probably more information on that site than you will ever be able to use.
