MICOR base squelch pot value

Post by boteman »

Pop quiz: what is the value of the squelch and volume pots on a MICOR base unified chassis? Both are extremely flaky on our repeater and it made troubleshooting today very difficult, to say the least, so I want to replace them.

I'm embarrassed to ask as I used to know this by heart (20 years ago).

Thanks in advance.

According to my MICOR Base and Repeater Stations Instruction Manual (6881025E50-G) dated 5/10/79 (companion to Control and Applications Manual 6881025E60), Volume and Squelch pots on the Receiver Interconnect Board schematic page and parts list are both 25K, +/- 30%, 1/4w, p/n 18-82515B50.
