Minitor VI falsing

Postby TomSlick » Fri Mar 30, 2018 5:59 pm

The firmware notes for the R.01.06 version for the Minitor VI states "Added Level 3 falsing adjustment to reduce page alert falsing in special circumstances". The help text for the programming software also talks about falsing adjustments, implying they appear on the channel tabs. But I sure can't find them. Any hints?

I'm looking for this adjustment because we're experiencing periodic falsing that appears to only occur when our pagers are charging.

I also notice a 60-cycle-like hum on reception of mine in the charger, and nothing I've tried (different locations, surge suppressors, different pagers and chargers) eliminates that. My suspicion is this hum may be a factor in the falsing, but that's just a wild guess.
