MINITOR IV Programming Question

MINITOR IV Programming Question

I was wondering if anyone knows how to program a Minitor IV to mimic the silent scan option that the minitor V has? My agency has several Minitor IV pagers that we currently cannot use due to the fact that we are dispatched by two different dispatch centers on two different frequencies. I know the pager scans but thus far it only appears to scan in an open, monitor mode. I have no idea if this can even be done but I would like to get these pagers to do the silent scan so that it would scan while in the select call mode and be able to only open up when the tones are transmitted on either channel. Can anyone help or offer insight?

The Minitor IV does not support the "Silent Scan" feature.
