Minitor 5 Batteries

Post by Lubecktech »

Is there an analyzer or a sleeve for any of the popular analyzers that will allow for capacity analysis of RLN5707AA batteries??

I've looked for one and haven't found anything. I called Itech last year, the company that makes the analyzers that I use, and was told they didn't have any plans to make one. So I made one using an old Min V charger base that works with my Itech analyzers. The analyzers treat them as NiCD but because the chemistry is NiMH I don't get an accurate capacity result, but knowing what a new RLN5707A gives me for a capacity and comparing with a suspect one gives me a good idea how degraded the suspect one is.
