Verbose log

Post by jnglmassiv »

All,

I noticed something today that has me troubled. I'm a bit out of my element here, so here goes..
On my laptop harddrive the following directoy
C:\147d5b6d0f7e3c55c6c511e3cf
In it is a 238k text file with a name of msxml5-kb927978-enu. It is apparently a verbose log. The file was created a few weeks ago and I have no idea what it is or where it came from. Can anyone shed any light? Is the cause nefarious or harmless?

What radios do you own?: AM/FM

see the section that says "msxml-kb.....-enu"? That is a classic hallmark of a microsoft XP service pack update....It's harmless. I hate the way that the damn service packs just dump absolute crap all over the HD.
