gp 380 lab codeplug issue

Post by radiomad »

Hi all need help with the following.

I have followed the procedure of changing a gp680 to 380 and vice versa many times without issue.

THIS TIME I have an issue where I have tried changing the codeplug with lab software but it fails.

I have selected both the hardware codeplug, application codeplug and only one of each to try and sort the issue out with no luck.

Cps won't read or write, comtool communicates and gives the following :-
Error code $12 - eeprom checksum failure - hardware failure, and has test 2 failure on the radio display which I know is a codeplug error.

I just need to get a codeplug into the radio I think but i'm having issues the labgrade software which give the following messages as it's failing to write.
checksum error in recieved message, recieved message incomplete.

The firmware will change without issue.

Any ideas or anyone come accross this one before.
