Motorola CDM-1250 / MDC-1200

Post by Iplayerxs »

If this question has been asked before I apologize but. I own a CDM 1250 it's programmed for several different freq. I'm a volunteer firefighter this is what the radio is for. The county's fire band runs on 154.385. The county isn't digital but. My question is, I want to have the MDC-1200 key off tone put in my 1250. Is that possible or is that not possible?

Please explain what you want to do a bit better. I am not sure I understand and I suspect others don't either.

I suspect that you just want to enable MDC1200 on the certain channels in the radio. In CPS under MDC system you need to setup an MDC system to your needs then strap that system to the conventional personality using the signaling tab.
