M1225-LS programming for conventional only

Post by RF_Burns »

Is there a way to get rid of the last talk-group and only program the 2 conventional channels on a M1225-LS mobile?

When I get down to one talk-group left, the delete talk-groups button disappears, I only need the two conventional channels and having a talk-group there will just confuse the operators.

thanks

No the TG cannot be removed. For inexperienced users, I have programmed channel names like UNPROGRM, BLANK, or BAD-CHAN for that mode.

Ok, works as designed, not as expected.
I'll try the "BLANK" trick

Thanks

Correct, just do not put a name in for 'that channel'.
