Astro Spectra Ribless programming cable

Was wondering if anyone has a\had any luck in using a ribless cable for the moto astro saber high power, or if there is any schematics for homebrew of one.

Astro Spectra Plus is the only iteration of that radio that can use a RIBless cable. It's worth doing the upgrade if you have the parts and software to do it - 512 modes versus 254 and most everything else an XTL5000 is capable of with the only limitation being the Astro Spectra's frequency range.

Stay away from the knockoff Chinese RIBless cables. They may work one day and brick your radio the next day, if they work at all.
