MCS2000 - Reverting to old codeplug

Post by Johnno »

Is there any way possible to bang a R01.00.00 codeplug into an MCS2000 that has been programmed with newer CPS.
I have the good old 'Codeplug too new for application' problem.
I can't justify spending another cople of hundred of CPS for a couple of read/writes.
Thanks,
Johnno.

If you have a saved codeplug for the unit, or one for an identical model/flashcode with the older CPS, it should let you program/clone it in normally. At least, I think CPS will allow that. If not, you'd have to write an older identical codeplug with DOS RSS.
