Programming help for Spectra Suitcase Repeater

Post by icom98 »

Fellow Forum Members,

I have a Spectra Suitcase Repeater model P1821AX and need the pinout to make a programming cable or to buy one at a reasonable price. Also does anyone know if you use the regular Astro Spectra software to program this repeater?

Thanks,
Larry

It's a mid power spectra programming cable. Goes onto the DB-15 on the control card. Uses the spectra RSS with the suitcase RSS to handle the programming of the mode names, controls, etc and setting the radio 1/2 programming options as there are 2 spectra deks in the suitcase, one for rx and one for tx. need to program the rx deck seperate from the tx deck.

I know the suitcases pretty well as I take care of about 20 of em right now.
