Unplanned weekend downtime

Post by alex »

We had an issue with DNS this weekend. Our lovely host up and decided that it was a good thing to swap what server the board was hosted on, and proceeded to then not notify us of the change.

For most people the board should be coming online in the next hour or so as the changes take place.

We are beating our host over the head with a saber, so worry not.

Kilgore: Smell that? You smell that?
Lance: What?
Kilgore: Napalm, son. Nothing in the world smells like that.
Kilgore: I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end...

Ooooh .... I hate when that happens! At least you were able to get the system back up
on-line quickly. Nice work Alex!

I knew those System Sabers were good for something .... a personal weapon!

I was wondering if my last post had crashed the server or something... :o 8)

For maximum bludgeon potential, the top radio choices are the MX-300R, Astro Saber II-R, or GE M-PA with high cap battery.

Any of these will double as a club.

The old metal framed HT220 or MT500 radios also have respectable impact weapon capabilities.

And if you're REALLY angry, throw a 110 watt extended chassis(Dual receiver, 12 channel!) Motrac at them! If you're strong enough to give it a good loft, that is. :o

Trebuchet FTW! Just for the times that you need to launch a heavy radio, or a volkswagon...
