Post by metro121 »

Has anyone figured out how to get an MTX 900 to lock up in the 900 amateur band . I heard it could be done by grounding the VCO lock????????????????????

I am familure with the mod on the batlab board but I was looking form a more simple mod. I read a while back that you can get the MTX900's in the ham band buy grounding the VCO, but I can't find the post. I was hoping someone could direct me to it.

Again I am also aware of the GTX mods on batlabs but I am still looking for the info that was posted on one of the forums that states that the MTX 900's can be modified simply by grounding the VCO or some other component within the HT.
