spectra on 921 mhz

Hello to the list.

I have a spectra 900 mhz radio that I am finally getting around to modifying for 902 mhz. The only repeater in colorado here is 921.1mhz down 12mhz. Will this spectra work ok on this split? I have it monitoring the repeater right now and the audio sounds distorted. I don't know if it is this radio or some filters need modifying or what.

Any suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated.

Try 25/30 split .see what it sounds like!

I used to drive N on I25 or #287 too: Berthoud, CO. I used to work that machine hope they made no changes?
