Conventional/trunking systems/trunking talkgroups

Post by RidgeRunner »

I have a question on this, I have not tried to reprogram a radio yet. I want to put a GTX on the 900 ham band. I am interested in repeaters and simplex. So does that mean on the preticular GTX that I want (M11WGD4CB1AN) I will get 10 conventional/10 trunking systems/8 trunking talkgroups. So I can only use the 10 conventional channels for repeaters and simplex. The other 18 will not be able to be used correct?

Thanks!

FYI,

You can delete all but 1 of the trunks and groups then program in all 10 of the convential channels - the helps clean up the display and moving from channel to channel.

Has anybody tried to hack the MDF file, if there is one? I recently changed a Maxtrac from 10,10,and 10 to 20 conventional, and 0 trunking.

interesting

I am sure it can be done, if it has to a maxtrac. I guess its a matter of someone trying to do it.

GP600 trunked out of band mode

Post by mpt1327 »

I'm trying to program a GP600 trunked mtp1327 in ham band, now the range of this radio is 403-433Mhz, what i do to program few channes out of this range?

I hope is similar to a GP900, i'm using DDPS_DS.exe to run and read the radio, but i can't program any channel up to 433 MHz.

The soft have a pass to get in lab's soft, to adjust frecuency and others, whats is this password?

i have to a p100 VHF radio, what's is the way to get out of range this radio too??

Best Regards
Francisco.

If anybody need some answers about MPT1327 i can respouse, becose i work in this trunking type.
