XPR 4350 Channel steering through mic jack

Hello,anyone ever use the channel steering lines on the mic jack of the mobile?I realize that you can program the mobile pins 20-25 for channel steering,but just curios.Also,has anybody ever channel steered throug a JPS NXU 2?I found out that you can use the NXU serial line to do this,just not sure.Thanks.

Well, it looks like you can use DTMF to the backof the radio,which i guess is not mentioned in book,I will post when I find out how.
