Hi guys,
I'm looking at picked up an XPR5550 and I was curious if anyone had successfully mated an APX mobile mic (specifically an HMN1090C) with an XPR mobile? I just don't really like the look of the TRBO Mics.

I use a HMN1090A on one of my XPR4550's. Works fine. GARY

The Manta mic works fine. Only issue I've seen is that, if you turn the backlight up all the way, the mic goes from green to red. I don't know if that's due to it being an XTL/APX mic, or if the native Manta-style mic for TRBO would behave the same way.

On another note, I've had some issues with trying the RMN5070 XTL desk mic on the XPR5550, but it works fine on a 4550.
