Low voltage lock in DGR6175 (latin america XPR8300)

Post by amutis »

I have the following problem.

We have sites with only PV and Eolic energy, some of the cients dont like use
Charge Controller with Low Voltage Disconnect.
When the voltage drops, the repeater is power off, but when the voltage rise
steadily the repeater turn on, but is locked (Led turn on, but not repeating),
the only way to back to normal state is disconect and reconect the cable from
the battery bank.

Anyone has the same problem?

Add a low voltage disconnect as a seperate device.

Something like this http://www.shop.solar-wind.co.uk/acatal ... ochure.pdf (I would look for one that has low operating/standby current. I see this one consumes only 4ma.)

It not only will resolve your lock-up issue, but also prolong the life of your batteries.
