Getting some reports that the XE RSM audio sounds weak or "under deviated" than the 4104 mic I have. Swapping mics appear to the other people almost night/day difference. I understand about some of the audio features of the XE RSM but does anyone have recommend audio profile settings in using the XE RSM to make it "sound" better or run into this?
This is under analog/simplex 25k conditions. I have used it on a 12.5 channel and heard no complaints (yet).

This is probably due to bad default values under the noise reduction profile settings. I had people complain CONSTANTLY that my APX sounded quiet until I fixed them.
Load up your codeplug, then set Codeplug View to "Expert View." After that copy and paste these settings into their respective fields.
