Lithium-Ion Nickel-Metal Hydride in AVA: What Happens ?

Post by Leadenwah »

Using the AVA for the Astro Saber with either Lithium-Ion or Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries
seems to be a problem from my searches on the subject. What is the danger in their use?

I can't seem to find whether it is simply the use of any Impres battery in the AVA which is
the problem or is it the chemistry of Non-Impres Lithium-Ion Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries
that comes to grief when charged in an AVA.

Are we just not getting a proper charge or are we going to have an exploded or burning
battery ?
