antenna length

Postby whirley12 » Wed Dec 24, 2014 8:00 am

my antenna goes from 150-162 pretuned, but my ht's have a couple of channels that are 164 mhz, will the antenna difference harm the radio or affect operation of the hts?

No. VHF portable antennas are already compromised. Being slightly out of band won't change performance, and won't hurt your radios.
