Re: I just bought my first Astro!
I think we've all done it, so far be it from us to criticize you. It wasn't that long ago that I picked up my first ASTRO rig, and indirectly bragged about it in the form of numerous threads with questions. So I can totally relate, and have to say "Congrats!" for joining the ASTRO geeks here.motosapien wrote:Okay, I know this sounds noobish, so I guess it is. I just purchased my first astro! (AS3 VHF)
jnglmassiv is right (although his addiction is further along than mine). That "Why could you possibly need another radio?" voice in the back of your head will keep fading, until one day it's not there at all.
By the way, I think you'll find that that 1C5E, while not entirely legit, is quite nice. Just please don't run MODAT on the local ham repeaters.
