Is a dongle required to upgrade the firmware on an APX7000?

Everything that's been put out so far says they weren't going to do this with the APXes. When did this come out?

Just because the cps talks about ibuttons and flashkeys does not mean it will be for firmware. I have been told that the plan is for the firmware updates to remain free with feature upgrades to be done via flashkey.
