R2200B transistor LV power suppply

Post by xxx2fan »

Does anyone know a replacement for transistor M9706 48-869706, I've looked and looked and cannot find anything to cross it to and can't find one anywhere.. Sure would like some help if someone knows what would work in its place. Also am looking for M9648 replacement think a NTE 128 might work in it's place not sure though.
Thanks for any help

Going at this one more time. After doing bunches of looking the M9706 says it converts to MJE370, but that is a PNP, so the comparable is MJE520 which is Darlington NPN. That converts to a ECG 184 in the old ECG book I have.
Hope someone gets some help out of this. its a to126 case vice To92 but I have fingers crossed it with bring the LV power supply back to life in the R2200 service monitor. I ordered 25 of the MJE520....... it's been like pulling teeth. LOL

Thanks for help.

M9706 would use BD679 , Already the M9648 I consider a little critical depending on his position on the board would try a 2n3904 and monitor the result..

Just to let everyone know the LV power supply is alive and well. Also found two traces on board burnt jumpered with wire.
Everything looking good.
Thanks to all for help.
