Motorola R2200A

Post by Paul Nelson »

Can anyone tell me how to lift the RF board in the RF synthesizer in an R2200A. Apparently there are components attached to the chassis and then soldered to the board. I can't raise it up high enough to see what's going on under there.

What radios do you own?: What's a radio?

Hi Paul,
Welcome to the board.
As for your problem, first remove the covers from BOTH sides of the VCO and remove all the screws from both board. That should free up the board so you can see both sides.
