recently purchased R2024 at local flea market

RF Scan control on front panel does not work

since i do not have service manual any help on which module should i look for trouble? possible resetting unit?

Most likely your problem is with the "pot" itself. IF you want to try to reset the software, enter special function 79. Special functions are entered by pressing both arrow keys on the keypad at the same time and then the number wanted.

I have problems with my 2200B's pots, many are noisy due to dirt. Expecting it isn't a sealed pot, did you attempt cleaning with contact cleaner?

We used contact cleaner on them all the time followed by compressed air.
