Audio Transformer for R2600

Post by FMROB »

Hello all,

I need to get my 2600 series service monitor working to test soem tone remote equipment and repeaters, etc. The manual states that I need a RTL 1003A matching transformer connected to the Mod out or Mod In of the service monitor. What exactly is that part, and can I make it myslef with some stuff from Rat Shack?

Thanks, Rob

You can try the small 1:1 transformers Radio Shack has. A project box, a couple bnc fem connectors for gozinnta and gozotta, a half hour, you're golden.
