Wireless earpiece with XPR7550 & SL7550

Post by dvpman »

Hi,

I run a corp security team and we have been quoted the items below for an event. As I've never used the wireless versions before only the 3 wire kits, there doesn't seem to be a mic for this. Surely that is wrong but can anyone confirm that the Y adapter also has the mic as part of its features?

01 RLN4922
02 NNTN8127B Wireless Push-to-Talk Pod - bluetooth
03 NNTN8385 Y-Adapter for Wireless Bluetooth PTT Pod

Any help would be great.

The microphone is on top of the earpiece, and it works surprisingly well.

The kit is called "Operations Critical Wireless". Google it and you'll see the little mic on the earpiece top.

I have one, they work EXTREMELY well.

Not on this kit. This kit uses an inductive neckloop and a wireless earpiece.

The problem I experience with that Bluetooth is the audio that goes into the earpiece is so low if you're in a loud environment you cannot hear the radio traffic. But it works well

Pretty sure you figured this out already, but for the record:
The mic is part of the NNTN8385 Y-Adapter. It connects to the Bluetooth Pod on one side and to the neckloop and the lapel mic on the other side.
