MTR3000 Mixed Mode

Postby KB2ZTX » Sat Mar 02, 2019 3:03 pm

So I am just verifying that I am not missing something. I have a MTR3000 with mixed mode. The only setting I find for digital is color code. Is there no place to put a talk group ? Or is it not needed ? In the subscriber do i just pick one and it repeats that ?

Yes, color code is all you need on the repeater. Talkgroup id's are set on the subscriber. However, on the repeater, set the RSSI to something other than the default or it will never transmit if there is the least bit of interference. -60 should do.
