I have 2 Xts3000 Radios

1 x Series R
1 x Series S

The Series R had Secure Option in CPS

The Issue is if I disable to Secure Option then I get no PTT Beep, If I enable it I get the tone but the 9/10 Error When Turning On.

I don't need Secure so how do I defeat the 9/10 Error and still get a TX Beep when I TX ?..

Maybe I need a dummy Secure Key or something..

Yep, you will need an encryption module installed to get rid of the 09/10 error message, and a key loaded into it.

Is it really worth all that just to have a beep when you key up!?

Was just looking for some conformity between the 2 radio's
