Mobile RF Amplifier Building Project

Postby fineshot1 » Mon Aug 03, 2015 9:57 am

If you have any Motorola MTVA (NTN1322B) = Non band specific Controller Units(No RFPA)
and you have nothing to use it for the heat sink makes for a nice mobile rf pa or even a
small repeater (with lots of wind via a fan) rf pa project. You must take it apart and remove
the controller board but leave the motorola power connector in place. There is a small hole
for the RF Input input connector that was never installed and a rubber plug for another hole that
never had anything populated in its place. I have not tried it but realized this after pulling one
apart. The one i have is partly corroded so i felt i would see if there was anything that it could be
used for.
