Jeep Grand Cherokee headlights

Post by Tech225 »

I am getting ready to do an install on a 2003 Grand Cherokee. I need to order a wig-wag flasher for it but don't know if the headlights are the traditional positive switched or the new negative switching. The vehicle is not available yet and the boys down at the dealer are clueless.
Anybody know this one?

It's positive switched if it's the same as the '02.

Why use that Whelen unit (or ANY manufacturer's with relays)? You cen get solid state units from Sound-Off with no moving parts to make noise or wear out in 2 years.

flaher

Why, for one reason the Whelen's are cheaper than the Sound off for me. I get dist. pricing on the Whelen but not sound-off. Sorry but money talks.

Thanks guys. I'll look at the Whelen, but I don't get a price break on their stuff. Since it takes a conventional flasher I can shop around though.
