Sticky RE: Stolen Radios from San Diegio Update

Post by astrousa »

Hello,

Letting everyone know that I have posted an update reguarding the STICKY: Stolen Motorola Equipment from San Diego, Ca
in the Radios For Sale Forum

Brian pled guilty to stealing XTS3000's & XTS5000's and selling stolen equipment and was given 5 years probation. Brian McNeal was ordered to appear at a restitution hearing Oct 01,2003 and he failed to appear resulting in San Diego County Sheriffs Dept issuing a warrant for his arrest.

You can follow the link in my reply and check the status of his warrant. When checking the status only type in his lastname McNeal then press search.

Brian is reported to have a mix of XTS3000's & XTS5000's for sale now. He might be going to Canada to sell them. Be very carefull in buying these radios. The detectives # for contact is posted in the sticky message if anyone has any information on his location especialy "if you are buying radios with a San Diego codeplug inside."

Yep, probation helped him learn alot!! Especially after having a previous conviction for stealing HT1000's in Oregan where he is from. When he was arrested he had USFS firefighting gear & a military id, which he used to get into locations to steal the radios. Brian was in the Army & kept an ID. He was never able to be a FF because of his prior stolen radio conviction before the one this year.
