praise for Moto

Post by DAL-COM »

After having had several HT1000 repaired by the Rockford RSC, I have to admit they are fast. We did have a misunderstanding about flat-rate but they fixed it without an argument. They are not cheap but they are good.
They even paid for 2-day shipping. Great service!

Motorola repairs

Post by motisking »

Yes! Motorola repair facilities all do a great job lately. There was a time when you might have had to send units back again and again! But now they really take care of business. They must have improved QA.

Motorola Infrastructure Depot
Repair Cycle Time

•Motorola's Infrastructure Repair Depot (IDO) is striving to provide you with
world class repair quality and cycle time. IDO is quoting that Motorola CGISS
manufactured or branded equipment will be analyzed, repaired, if applicable, and
shipped back to you within 7 business days of when it is received by IDO.
Actual repair times may vary based on such factors as demand, parts shortages,
or the need for additional information from the customer.

•Repair cycle time is measured from receipt of the unit at IDO until it ships from
IDO. Shipping time is not considered part of the 7 business daycycle time. IDO
ships all repairs via 2-day air freight. Upgraded shipping is available for an
additional fee. Customers are responsible for all aspects of shipping equipment to
IDO, including packaging and pre-payment of shipment.

•If IDO is unable to meet its quoted cycle time commitment for a specific unit, or
requires additional information to perform the repair, an IDO representative will
inform the contact listed on the Repair Authorization (RA) by phone or email
with a new estimated ship date. After initial contact by IDO, customers whose
units are waiting for additional information, such as problem description or
estimate approvals, will not be contacted again.
