Shaun

I don't think it is in the flashcode - I'm REALLY new to this, but I have a VHF unit with 255 max channels - and the flashcode is 180001-000000-9.

This decodes out to:

Q806/G806 IMBE / APCO-25 Digital Operation
H868/W298 Conventional Multikey and Analog Conventional MDC OTAR
H35/G48 Conventional Operation

I'm looking at the archive on the 'puter now, and that's all there is. But I could be wrong - seems to me it must be somewhere else than the flashcode.

It states on the MOT website, that the W3. W7, and W9 support 255 modes, while the W4, and W5 only support 128...

Without any added options anyway...

When I look at all the available FLASH upgrades for an ASTRO Spectra W4 on an old FLASH key I have, it lists a 250 mode upgrade as the H260.
