vocoder switch question....

vocoder switch question....

I just switched vocoders on my xts3000's 800 host 7.5 dspn 7.3.19
To nick radio witch had host 5.51 dsp 6.4, Now I thought the host and dsp would transfer to the other radio, the dsp switched but the host info did not any suggestions

It was my understanding the HOST firmware was on the controller board, not the vocon. Switch the controller board as well, force in a good codeplug with some form of LAB software & it should be done.

Thanks, I figured i hd to switch the controller after i posted the message, all done works great. I just hope there are no problems with the host/dsp..... host 7.05.00 dspn 7.03.19. now only if i can get rid of the nick flash... is the next step.
