mtx 838 blinking light after tx

i just put a refurb kit on my mtx 838 radio and when i unkey the ptt button some times the light blinks 2 times and sometimes it dont and not the usall steady quick light whats wrong?

Does this happen in conventional or trunking mode? Possibly a weak battery? From there, possible a corrupted codeplug. I've seen some odd things happen when blowing codeplugs from other radios in.

it happenes in conventinal and its the origanal programming from when i bought it the battery is about 2 to 3 years old and its from batts plus

it tx and rx just fine its just the blinking light is wierd could be a dirdy contack or stuck rubber ?

i dont think thats its happens when i hold it with th ptt button out and it happendes on my radio to radio channels

Is this a non disply, top display or front display radio?
