Has anyone used one of these? I've never seen one, but I see one on Motorola online. They are $50.

If you want one, talk to me before you order it. Considering how quickly XTS's can eat through batteries, I can't see how that would be economical.

They even have one in orenge.

The dry cell battery packs are desireable for radios that will be cached, since the dry cells have so much longer a shelf life than charged re-chargeables. The theory is that you can pass out the radios with the dry cells while all of your rechargeables that are flat are being charged.

Try the Multiplier Primary Lithium for the XTS 4200 mAh and a 10+ year shelf life, the feds use 1000's of them
