Maxtrac UHF Question?

Hi, I have a Maxtrac UHF 440-470 MHz. I would like to know if I can bring this radio to go out of band to 490 MHz, or can a new personallity be created for a band split of 460-490 MHz. I have 5,6 and 7 Software versions for this radio. Any help would be appreciated.

That's a little too far out of band for the Maxtrac

I got mine up to 472 but that was about it, it wouldn't lock after that. You can always try with yours here though... http://www.batlabs.com/maxrad.html
