Greetings,
I have a Fujitsu Ten that a guy from one of the neighboring fire departments brought me to find out if I can program it. I found a posting elsewhere that states to ground S2 on the inside and programming mode comes up. However, setting stuff here is pretty complex and I can't get it to save. Does anyone have any instructions on programming this radio? Thanks.
                                          Brad

I have been told that you also need the correct programming PROM, then you can ground S2 and get things done that way. I too have several Fujitsus that I want programmed. If anybody out there has a EPROM that they are willing to lend, or willing to e-mail, then I can burn my own. I believe it can be put on a 27C64. I work for a department that has several of these. We are basically having to throw them away because we have changed frequencies and cannot get them programmed.
Hope this helps, and thanks to anybody who can help furhter (please)

Hello:
" Depending" on the radio is a guideline wether
a Programming Prom was used, OR grounding
the pin to enable the program mode.
Also, there is a " VHF Programming Prom" and a " UHF Programming
Prom " Both of which are a real tough to Program and Navigate
around.
SO, depending on the radios serial number ( as they can both
can be Fujitsu 10's ) I could perhaps program your radio.
I will not be doing any Two-Way support untill after the Holidays.
And I do have all of the Instructions for these radios. I may
work a deal with you if you need a copy of the Program Instructions, but do to the Unique arrangement of this radio, and
that I still have a customer that has a big fleet of them, I am
sorry to report, I am unable to release the Program Kit to
anyone......More than happy to make a duplicate of the program
instructions, and perhaps their address, phone number...But
from there, you are on your own.

Me too
I have about 25 UHF Fujitsu's and got the programming prom off of ebay. If someone needs the UHF version I can help, but the last I checked the seller's gone, for the VHF.

Also
The guy who sold these to me was "trss" on ebay and the shop phone for them is, 903-839-7864. I don't know if he has anymore, but since the counter on my 7 day auction only showed it viewed 4 times,(probably me) I would venture to say he might still have one on VHF.
