Off sounds better overall except the wind noise from the air conditioner. The difference there was dramatic and it was much more understandable with AGC on in that situation.

I like the sound of the AGC better overall, I think that's what separates the MSP system from the local (Downriver) radio system here.

I've found with AGC on with the recommended Big M settings yields more consistent transmit audio between different users than with it off.

It will only let me play 3 seconds of it "I am using an XTS3000" then it ends. There must be more.

I am using Win XP Pro with the latest edition of Windows Media Player (9)?

I have no idea what is wrong with media player 9. I've had several people tell me it cannot stream mp3 audio properly.

I use winmp myself, and it works 100%. Have you tried cut/pasting the URL link into media player, then doing the "Play URL" ?

S
Yes I tried that. Ill have to download winamp. This is not the first time! :-?

Downloading the file and playing locally seems to work the best. Worked with WM9 and Winamp.

Downloded Winamp and it worked fine. ACG is the way to go!

AGC sounds good. Were you using the suggested Motorola settings?

I agree that with AGC the overall audio quality is much better and easier to listen to than with it off. I use AGC as well on both of my AS III's and it makes a huge difference in a high noise area. Great test r0f!
