Elroy, hear anything back from Motorola Yet? I found the mic I need, I don't have the AVA yet though.

AVA Display Mic

Part Item : HMN4044D Description: ASTRO HANDHELD CONTROL HEAD
$308.00
I also have the System Saber HHCH NMN6169A Parts ID says HMN4044D is the correct Mic that will work...we'll see. Now I just need the AVA. I know Elroy was saying the AVA has to have special firmware for the mic to work and Motorola was supposed to get back to him with details. I was hoping they got back to him because I would really like to get this up and running.

No, they haven't gotten back to me yet.
I'm probably not a big enough customer to warrant good customer service.
I'll call them back this week and tell them to either answer the damn question or quit pretending. But I'll say it nicely.
The HMN-4044 HHCH comes with the wrong cable for an AVA. However, the cable for the PLN-7737A HHCH, which is the HHCH for the XTVA (XTS series) does have what is believed to be the right cable. So, call parts ID, give them the PLN part number, and ask for the part number for a replacement cord.
Have you figured out how to open the HHCH yet? It's a pretty clever case design.

Nope, haven't really messed with it yet because I don't have the AVA yet. I have a bunch of the regular SVA's but no AVA yet. I don't want to spend the money on a new one so I'm looking for something in my price range. Doe's the Systems Saber HHCH work with normal Sabers? I have the NMN6169 mic for the Systems Saber, I bought it on Ebay and thought I might experiment with it.
